Team Building
A WHooSH approach to team building aims to support the team to spend the time together in a productive and pragmatic way, which can also include fun - but having fun will rarely be the only outcome.
What can team building achieve?
- A new or renewed sense of direction and purpose.
- A shared strategy and process for moving forward.
- A clearer understanding of the individuals in the team and what their issues and motivations are.
- Greater understanding of how the team fits into the overall purpose and direction of the organisation.
- An opportunity to discuss key issues facing the team.
- A joint approach to problem solving and ideas generation.
- An opportunity to give feedback to each other.
- Greater clarity on the roles and responsibilities of individuals within the team - including the leadership roles.
- A greater sense of belonging.
- An opportunity to get to know others, have some fun and relax together.
- The time the team spends together, which might be over 1-2 days will be designed in collaboration with the team and team leaders. It can also provide the team leaders with an opportunity for coaching and guidance on their leadership role within the team.
