The Business Partnership Programme for HR Professionals
Typically, this will begin by carrying out some diagnostic work, using one to one meetings and group facilitated sessions to assess the training and development needs of the Business Partners and the function as a whole.
Following the diagnostic work, a range of solutions may be offered, which could include:
Development centres with assessment against Business Partner competencies
Using either your own set of Business Partner competencies, or our Business Partner competencies, we can tailor a development centre to focus on the competencies you want to develop. Core areas are likely to be:
- Leading and influencing change

- Working alongside managers in the business
- Maintaining a business focus
- Self awareness and impact
We would recommend starting this process with 360-degree feedback from the business to give the Business Partner a benchmark for their development. To follow up on the development centres, we would also recommend one to one coaching to improve the skills and performance of Business Partners.
